5 Things I love About Embroidery

So you have a project idea in mind, but need a splash of something fun to make it special?

Embroidery and/or a super cute monogram are the solution. I love embroidery for lots of reasons, but here are 5 that really stand out to me this morning:

1. A cute, but plain gift is a fabulous gift with a little embroidery!  Add a cute design or monogram to a towel set for a bride, a beach towel for a summer birthday gift, or to a cute bag to give your Bible study buddy:) 
2. Fabulous monograms can be done quickly! Great embroidery doesn't have to take forever (but don't tell your friends:). Pick a cute design sized for the 4x4 hoop and chances are you can stitch it out in less than 30 minutes.
3. Personalized items make us feel special and unique. Who doesn't love a monogrammed scarf, bag, or water bottle cozie?
4. The feeling of completing a fun DIY project spurns us on to keep creating. Finishing a super fun project and seeing the great results gives us the push to keep going and plan that next super awesome monogrammed item that you saw on pinterest and want to make for yourself! 
5. I love making something even more cute that what I could purchase at a department store. So many times I walk into a store in the mall and see something super cute with a huge & ridiculous price tag. My reaction is often, "I could make that for less and it would be even better." Well... make it! Joyful Stitches has lots of cute designs to use:)
