Summer Monogramming Fun

Summer is a great time to do some cute embroidery projects. I have found that it’s a great time to make some cute things for others, too:)

I like to take beach towels that are a cute color and add a sweet monogram to one end and even add a name to personalize the designs further. Look in the “Summer Designs” category for some sweet seasonal monogram sets that will work great for beach towels.

It’s also really fun to make a cute tag to add to an overnight bag or suitcase for those summer travels. I make lots of these for my family and even for gifts for others. I choose a cute design and stitch it on a small 4x4 piece of fabric. After stitching, I attach a backing piece of fabric using a little adhesive interfacing. Then, I trim the edges with pinking shears and add a grommet to the corner. Add some cute ribbon through the grommet and tie the tag with a cute bow to a purse, bag, backpack, anything fun!
